Protect Your Home Page
(A "How To" Browsing tip)
Some installed programs change your home page. Even some web sites using Java or ActivX controls change your Browser's home page without your permission or without your realizing it. Here's how to fix that.- Select the "Tools" menu, then choose "Internet Options".
- Click "General" tab, the first on the left.
- Type in the desired address (i.e.:"http://www.google.com") in the address box or select the button that says "Use Current" or "Use Blank".
- In Netscape, select "Edit", then choose "Preferences" then select "Navigator" and type in the home page address you want to use.
- An easier way is to visit our "Fix Browser Home Page" resource.
